Ana graduated from Long Beach State with a bachelor's in Journalism and Political Science. She currently works for the 4th Council District of Long Beach as a communications officer. She hopes to expand her career skills in book publishing, publicity and editing.

She also freelances as an editor and personal assistant. She was previously the Copy Editor for the Daily Forty-Niner and Managing and News Editor for The Telescope.
